Speaking to school or college councils, classes or year groups is an important part of being the local Assembly Member.
I am always pleased to visit schools and colleges to speak with students about my work as the local Assembly Member and to answer questions.
It is sometimes possible to arrange for the National Assembly’s educational outreach team to speak to students about the role of the National Assembly prior to my visit. If you would like to arrange this, please ask my office.
Due to Assembly and Government business most school and college visits take place on Fridays (but this is not always the case, so please check with my office).
Although diaries are planned well in advance, Government and Assembly business takes precedence and I can be required to change my plans at short notice although I seek to avoid this happening wherever possible and provide information on any changes at the earliest possible opportunity.
To invite me to your school or college, please get in touch.
